How to build an authentic EVP by putting the “human” back into employer branding by Georgiana Ghiciuc

Abstract

According to Gartner, companies with a transparent EVP are capable of decreasing annual employee turnover by almost 70%, boosting commitment among new hires by 30%.  In these present times, when employer branding budgets are slashed all over the world due to economic constraints, it is all the more important to explore how a company can stay authentic – first and foremost to its current employees and then to the future ones.

In my talk, I would like to briefly explore current market trends, as well as assess how companies can stay relevant to their audiences. By looking at the literal definition of the word “authentic”, I will evaluate how an Employer Value Proposition can best stay human, personalised, mission-driven and honest.

I’m a young founder with a huge motivation to change the world of employer branding. This is my story of how my company Hume Agency came alive and how we see the next wave of employer branding.

Leader – Lead Content: Advocate For Your Employees Through Authentic Storytelling by
Britta Blanski

Abstract

Employer Branding, despite its attempt to reflect an honest insight into organizational culture, is often filtered. But trying to fit a “formula” is neither authentic nor true employee advocacy.

When leaders highlight their team’s wins – publicly recognizing and affirming individuals’ work or sharing their colleague’s work – it’s a win-win situation. This kind of communication authentically demonstrates your employer brand and advocates for your employees.
